NEW RELEASE: Ouzelum (Nevermore/Sean Hogan)
out now on all platforms.
Ouzelum an hour long soundscape created to accompany Melbourne artist Sean Hogan’s Nevermore exhibition.
”Sean has been my long time collaborator for all things visual for the Artificial Limb, and to collaborate with him on his artwork was an absolute honour and a really exciting proposition.
As always, Sean’s concept for his work was exceptionally well-considered, original and exciting. When he ran it all past me, and then sent me the Bulgarian Orthodox hymns he’d been listening to while developing his ideas, I knew exactly how I would respond in sound.
Part of the process of producing the soundscape was recording Sean as he painted, capturing the physical process of creation, and the ambience of the space in which he creates. The majority of the other sounds were then made using a @moogsynthesizers Sub37. The end result is Ouzelum, a soundscape to Nevermore.”
